I love Mrs. Murphy mysteries, Pewter is my favorite. This book is the one I like the least so far, the Porsche incident is over the top even for a super cat lover like me, but what really put me off is, the murderers do not get punished. If I want to read about one law for ordinary people, another for rich and a third for super rich, I would read newspapers, I like whodonits, that bolster my naïve belief in justice.

Ordered this book from an seller. It was in great condition. I love this series. The interaction between the animals has me laughing out loud. She really nailed the corgi personality. If you haven't read this series you need to.

Mrs. Murphy books are my favorite! i want her to write more and more of them!
I was doing okay until the cats and the dog drove the Porsche home from the neighboring farm. Good history from the past now deceased members of the Crozet community members. Too many outsiders moving in. I find the usual characters very interesting and like when the story is written about them.
If you like the Mrs. Murphy series from Rita Mae Brown, this is another good one. I really liked the ending. This whole series is fun, with well-written stories and lots of sass from the animals. Good plot but not overly involved, easy to read but not too easy, just fun, relaxing tales. I recommend any and all of the Mrs. Murphy series.
Old stories written by dead authors, new stories written by authors still alive, can be just as good to read today as they were when written. Reading about Regency England is my favorite time period to enjoy. I picked this story because the author's style of storytelling matches my reading interest level. A complicated plot and storyline to challenge me as I read.
I look forward with great anticipation when I have ordered a new Sneaky Pie mystery from . I know I am going to enjoy the process of another murder being solved by Mrs. Browne's wonderful Mrs. Murphy, a tiger cat; Pewter, a plump gray cat and Tucker, a Corgi. Its really fun to read the "thoughts" of the three animals and they play a major role in finding out "who done it" and, on several occasions, saved their human's life.

Mrs. Browne draws such interesting characters in her books and you find yourself looking forward to the next book to see what has happened in Crozet, Virginia. When I read the very first one, I was hooked and couldn't wait until I could read the next one. I have ordered four or five at the same time and always enjoy every one.

I certainly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a mystery and the imaginative use of animals to help solve it.
