I have written "scientific" in quotes because the book does not cite any scientific researches. It just describes in near-modern-scientific language terms what happens to your brain when you apply something like the Law of Attration. Descriptions looks plausible, but of course they are not scientific researches or proofs.

I have read several books of the author, I gave 5 stars to some and only 3 to others. Generally the same ideas in all books but accent of this book make it very interesting and engaging while some other books of the author I evaluate as rather boring.

Some ideas from the book:
- repeating well-focused thoughts generate stable neural networks in the brain
- you may have limiting beliefs
- thoughts can override beliefs
- the best solution to old limiting beliefs is new beliefs
- it does not matter if you truly believe your new positive beliefs at first
- logic does not help to change beliefs, but focused thought, repetition and emotion help
- reward yourself with praise (emotion) each time you replace the pattern with new, recognize your successes
- in criticism separate facts and opinions
- focus on what you do well
- interpret setbacks as positive learning experience
- find someone to hold you accountable for your progress
- every decision you make is not a decision about what to do but a decition about who you are
- write down possible solutions that can lead to your goal
- wrong choise is better than indecision, you can learn from mistakes
- worry is negative goal setting
- your brain follows the same rule as your muscles - use it or lose it
- your brain needs oxygen so walk is good and workout is even better
- 97% of people do not let themselves imagine what is possible so they cannot pursue it
- the success begins with commitment to big dream
- achieving big dreams requires just clear thinking, commitment and focus
- invest your time in ways that support your goal
- more accomplishments on the way to your goal mean stronger self-confidence
- you may have to trim-away some activities that take your time and energy but not lead you to your goal
- create realistic actions plan and take steps to your goal
- be the 1% that commit and do

Very rewarding information, but was not exactly what information I was hoping to find and read. I pretty much already knew most of this information. It was a nice refresher course. Thank you Dr. Wexler, for offering your book to us readers, who are trying to educate ourselves In achieving a better future for ourselves. Ella Hooks.
Another great book filled with lots of common sense tips that can help anyone achieve his or her potential. The core 3 keys are essential for achiving one's goals. I'll let you find out what those 3 core keys are. Definitely, recommend this book to anyone looking to improve and get better at going for the gold.
This book is concise, full of useful information, links to expounding reading on topics, and more. Her command of neuroscience is awe inspiring. In fact, my first big dream is to work in this field, directly with clients who value themselves enough to know that a better "me" is also a better "we". See you out there!
I have become a fan of this author as she writes very well, making very word count so the books are extremely informative, but short and concise.

Although many of the books talk about changing your thinking, by reading the message differently in each book, I have been able to almost unconsciously know when I am giving myself negative thought, the. I can stop them immediately, as what is reviewed in her books pop right into my head.

Basically the book discusses how to "rewire" your brains neural pathways that hold your thoughts and actions. This allows you to stop the negative thoughts and action. Sounds tough, but is not and she explains how to.

I enjoyed it very much.
Increase Your Mind Power is a information packed book about expelling your limiting beliefs so that you can excel in life. Who knew that the brain controlled so much of a person's life? One can get a clear understanding of the functions of their brains here and how and what those functions control.

Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler offers practical advice in this book along with exercises that we can use to improve our brain function, These exercises are practible and easily actionable. You will be empowered with the information that you need so that you can increase your confidence, your opportunities, and your overall well-being.

This book is well-written, well-research, and will open many eyes! This information is backed by years of scientific research and life experience. Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler gains instant credibility with me here. I have already noticed a change! Dr. Jill flexes her literary muscles here while showing the reader that she is the go-to source for increasing your "mind power!"

Must read!
As a firm believer in the power of positive thinking, affirmations, LOA...I was looking forward to reading this book.

Although some of the material presented was not new to me, I found it valuable as a reminder of what to dwell (and NOT to dwell on) throughout the day.

I also liked how the author presented this information in a user-friendly way.

I found myself highlighting several passages as I read through this book including

"the stronger your commitment to achieve your goal, the more fire and desire and belief you will manifest"

"allow yourself to dream a really BIG dream"

"take consistent, focused, commited action"

I couldn't agree more! -)

This is a short guide with some helpful and practical advice for anyone who is trying to live a more positive and focused life.
